Modern day Otley map

This 1891 Otley map is a composite produced from 2 separate maps of the 187 Yorkshire County series maps from 1891. They have carefully been blended together and re-positioned so that Otley Centre is now shown in its full glory on just one map. This work has been lovingly crafted by hard work and with a little Photoshop magic!! It covers a wide area but maintains a high level of detail. This map shows Otley a popular market town pleasantly situated by the River Wharfe. The world famous cabinet maker Thomas Chippendale was also born here in 1718.

The image shown here of the 1891 Otley map is a low resolution copy. The snippets below actually taken from a real print gives a true indication of the quality and resolution of this work.
